Track Name: Eskimo Joe
Music and lyrics by N.R. Robertson

On top of a snow hill,
Delectable winter we used to enjoy
Walrus, whale, and caribou
We wouldn't ask from you anything more
All of your airplanes
Your trains and your cars and things
We just can't adore
We want just a simple life led by the hunting knife
Watching the sunset offshore

Where did you go, Eskimo Joe,
Oh, when the sun was shining down?
What did you see? Did you listen to me?
The gods were laughing, you were crying.
Everyone you knew was dying, Joe.
Where did you go?

Where do you stand, Eskimo Jan,
Oh, when the ground has washed away?
What do you do? Do you start over new?
The happiness you felt is faded.
It seems there never was a master plan
Where do you stand?
Track Name: Mysterious New Machine
Music and lyrics by N.R. Robertson
Track Name: Plastic Moon
Music and lyrics by N.R. Robertson

Yellow skies and a plastic moon
Blue smoke and red balloons
Orange days and purple evenings
Fingers touching tambourines

And you know we can't go

Faceless wonder speaking silent
The Holy Mother turning violent
God the Father lying to me
All of Heaven passing through me

And you see we are free

Hold me, love me
Knowing nothing
Looking through
Maybe we'll see

And you know we can't go
Track Name: Getting Better
Words and music by N.R. Robertson

Are you in my head?
Have you ever left?
And you know that I'll always be your friend

Like your favorite day in the month of June
Like the summery shade, like the fall's perfume

Like the wintery glow on the hills of white
Like the everything, oh, like the everything

Making something out of nothing
Knowing that your life is something
Every day it's getting better
Better off than when you left her

Feel you in my bones
But I'm all alone
Dreaming of a day that I'll never know

Like your favorite day in the month of June
Like the summery shade, like the fall's perfume

Like the wintery glow on the hills of white
Like the country in spring, like the morning light

Like the rain in the park, like the fireside
Like a match in the dark, like an ebbing tide

Like a wintery glow, like a girl so fair
Like the everything, oh, like the everything
